We re updating the outsourcing terms for Microsoft on premises licenses to clarify the distinction between on premises traditional outsourcing and cloud services and create more consistent licensing terms across multitenant and dedicated hosted cloud services. Beginning October 1, 2019, on premises licenses purchased without Software Assurance and mobility rights cannot be deployed with dedicated hosted cloud services offered by the following public cloud providers: Microsoft, Alibaba, Amazon (including VMware Cloud on AWS), and Google. They will be referred to as Listed Providers.Putting a finger on the pulse of the industry, it would appear Microsoft 's new Azure licensing decision is the penultimate move dooming the company 's cloud business according to its competitors as Google 's Cloud President Rob Enslin and Amazon CTO Werner Vogels who have chimed in to condemn the latest restrictions.

Maguire and his Leicester team mates almost cost City the title in their penultimate league game of last season but for Vincent Kompany 's extraordinary 70th minute strike. That strike scorched past the body of Maguire who, up until that point, had performed tremendously to thwart City 's star studded attacking unit.
Sony Pictures This article contains major spoilers for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. For his ninth and supposedly penultimate film, Quentin Tarantino gave up violence. In a way. To a point. The ever polarizing writer director is famed for his stylish and shocking scenes of brutality, which he s used for cartoonish thrills (Kill Bill s 89 person sword fight), queasy comedy (Pulp Fiction s accidental face shooting), and morally weighted horror (Django Unchained s showcase of slaveholders cruelty). But across most of its very charming and very languid run time, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood almost entirely forgoes gruesome outbursts in favor of chitchat, driving, and back lot shenanigans. Two hours into the saga, some fan, sitting in some theater out there, is surely ready to accuse Tarantino of going soft this time.
Hunter returned to the Goldwyn on Thursday, wanting to revel again in what he calls the ultimate L.A. movie. He invited two friends for a showing that Sony Pictures agreed to schedule after the lines for Saturday s screening wrapped around the side streets of Beverly Hills. I grew up in Los Angeles and the movie really captures what makes the city and the industry special, says Hunter, who won Oscars for his work on Interstellar and First Man.
Canine Transmissible Venereal Tumor, a contagious cancer, first developed thousands of years ago.Jules Clark Getty One of the strangest living things on the planet started as a dog, but has turned into something else entirely. It originated somewhere in Asia about 6,000 years ago, when a cell in the genitals of an unknown dog developed mutations that allowed it to multiply uncontrollably. That is, it became a tumor. But unlike almost every other cancer, which ultimately goes down with its host, this one did not. Somehow, it gained the ability to spread from one dog to another through sexual contact. And in doing so, it achieved a kind of immortality. The original dog is long gone, but its contagious cancer known as canine transmissible venereal tumor, or CTVT lives on, having hopped around the world on the junk of humanity s best friend. To clarify, several cancers can be caused by infectious entities; cervical cancer, for example, is the work of HPV, a sexually transmitted virus. But in those cases, the cancer itself is not infectious and cannot spread. CTVT is different: Each cancer cell is a free living parasite that can set up another tumor on another dog. Among wild animals, there are only eight known examples of such transmissible tumors. Two grow on the faces of the unlucky Tasmanian devils. Five spread between shellfish. None are as ancient, prolific, or successful as CTVT.Now, a team led by Elizabeth Murchison of the University of Cambridge has finished the largest study of CTVT yet, comparing the DNA of 546 tumors collected from dogs around the world. The team s study reads like an epic biography of this unusual cancer, and it shows just how strange an entity CTVT really is.

TwitterEmailJames Marsden in Westworld.Courtesy of HBO.FacebookTwitterEmailQuentin Tarantino packs a million stars into Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, his meticulous ode to a bygone era. Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, and Margot Robbie lead the film, which is rounded out by dozens of other famous faces, including Al Pacino, Kurt Russell, Dakota Fanning, Lena Dunham, and Luke Perry, among others. One more star could have been added to the mix: James Marsden, who was announced as part of the film s cast last June. However, his role was ultimately cut. According to Collider, though, it s come to light that the Westworld actor was supposed to play a young Burt Reynolds.Reynolds, who died in 2018, got his start in Hollywood in a number of Westerns, like the series Gunsmoke and the film 100 Rifles. So it makes perfect sense that he would have popped up in Once Upon a Time, a film set during 1969. Tarantino is an avowed Western fan; in the film, DiCaprio plays a fictional actor named Rick Dalton, who makes a name for himself by starring in several Westerns. It s unclear what happened with Marsden s role. Reps for the actor have not yet responded to Vanity Fair s request for comment.
It would have been the ultimate contingency of Apollo 11: What if the astronauts returning home unleashed upon Earth something dangerous and foreign to science mdash; moon germs? Before Apollo 11 set out, NASA couldn't be positive that, if bits of dust or potential microorganisms got loose back home, life on Earth would be safe. Needless to say, accidentally setting a lunar plague loose on the inhabitants of Earth would have erased all the good publicity garnered by accomplishing the moon landing in the first place. Just in case, in addition to the protections they were establishing to make sure the moon rocks remained free of terrestrial contamination, NASA decided to establish a three week quarantine for the crew of Apollo 11.
Android fans who want the ultimate performance might be surprised by which phone is leading the pack.

I gave the first few episodes of Season Two a fairly positive review, happy as I knew I would be to return to this world and to these characters. But as the new episodes wore on, they became increasingly disjointed. Some of that, we now know, is because the entire season was recut from its original direction by Andrea Arnold. But Season Two also suddenly turned into a melodramatic courtroom drama for its final three episodes. And yes, while Celeste (Nicole Kidman) has always had the most interesting, heartbreaking and dynamic character arc, and seeing Kidman stand off against Meryl Streep s cretinous mother in law Mary Louise was wonderfully tense, for better or worse it completely overshadowed and dominated the season. In hindsight, if Big Little Lies ends here, it s all Celeste s story. And that doesn t always make a lot of sense. The other women were almost totally sidelined, perhaps most egregiously Reese Witherspoon s Madeline. Her story of a difficult redemption with her husband Ed (Adam Scott) only felt dragged out because that s all they had to do for these seven episodes. Madeline had nothing else going on. The same was true for Renata (Laura Dern), the last vestige of the show s cartoonish tone and snark from Season One (which felt very out of place in Season Two). Her husband lost all of their money, and for seven episodes that s all Renata was allowed to talk about.
Investors looking to measure the profitability of Marks and Spencer Group plc (LSE:MKS) should take note of the one year net profit growth ratio of 0.30350. Ultimately profitability is the metric that matters for a firm and it;s investors. Companies able to post consistent profits likely will see consistent share price growth as well.Investors are generally searching for a stock market strategy that not only maximizes returns, but helps them build a portfolio that is set up to achieve long lasting success. New investors may find themselves overwhelmed by the day to day workings of the market. Understanding that markets are volatile and will sometimes be down for extended periods is just another part of the investing process. Having the proper stock portfolio diversification can be a big help when trying to combat volatile markets.
David Iben put it well when he said, #8216;Volatility is not a risk we care about. What we care about is avoiding the permanent loss of capital.; When we think about how risky a company is, we always like to look at its use of debt, since debt overload can lead to ruin. We can see that Clarivate Analytics Plc (NYSE:CCC) does use debt in its business. But is this debt a concern to shareholders? Generally speaking, debt only becomes a real problem when a company can 't easily pay it off, either by raising capital or with its own cash flow. Ultimately, if the company can 't fulfill its legal obligations to repay debt, shareholders could walk away with nothing. However, a more common (but still painful) scenario is that it has to raise new equity capital at a low price, thus permanently diluting shareholders. Of course, debt can be an important tool in businesses, particularly capital heavy businesses. The first step when considering a company 's debt levels is to consider its cash and debt together.
Danny Murphy believes Chelsea will battle Manchester United and Tottenham for a place in the top four next season.Ultimately he thinks Spurs will finish third leaving it between Frank Lampard and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer though.
In a few days, the world will mark the 50th anniversary of humans first setting foot on the moon.Apollo 11 was an ambitious mission that would see three men Neil Armstrong, Edwin (Buzz) Aldrin and Michael Collins head to the moon, with the ultimate goal of walking on its surface.
