New Delhi: Priya Prakash Varrier starrer 'Sridevi Bungalow' has generated enough buzz, though all for the wrong reason, much before its release. The film, directed by Prasanth Mambully, landed itself into a controversy after the makers dropped the first trailer. Released recently, the trailer has raised quite a few eyebrows. It shows Priya Prakash Varrier in the role of an actress by the name of Sridevi, who appears to be very lonely. The end of the teaser has a shot of bathtub with a woman's feet hanging out of it lifelessly. The scene is eerily similar to that of Sridevi's death last year since the legendary actress passed away due to accidental drowning in a bathtub during her stay in Dubai's Jumeirah hotel.

With two of them gone it would be impossible to recreate the magic of the original. Boney and Anil have decided to call off the sequel plans. ”Not just that, Shekhar Kapur, who helmed the original film back in 1987, told the portal that he hasn #39;t got any idea of what #39;s happening on the plans to make Mr India 2 but also shared that with the demise of Sridevi, there #39;s no chance of going ahead with the sequel. quot; ”I don 't know what is happening with that project or what Boney 's plans are. I was never going to direct the sequel. Now with Sridevi no more, the question doesn 't arise, ” Kapur was quoted as saying.

On May 19, a day when Washington was consumed with the latest developments in the scandals enveloping the White House, the Pentagon announced that the chairman and vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Marine Gen. Joseph Dunford and Air Force Gen. Paul Selva, respectively would be renominated for another term. The commanders leading the military campaigns in Afghanistan, Iraq, North Africa, and Syria all places with significant Islamic State presences also remain in place. That same day, Dunford and Secretary of Defense James Mattis updated the Pentagon press corps on the counter Islamic State campaign, which Trump has ordered them to accelerate. They gave few details of the plan presented to the president. But what they did say was revealing. They highlighted only two significant changes: delegation of more authority to field commanders, and a tactical shift from shoving the Islamic State out of safe locations to surrounding it in its strongholds. Notably, Mattis emphasized that the rules of engagement had not changed, and that U.S. forces would maintain "continued extraordinary efforts to avoid innocent civilian casualties. " So much for the Trump campaign pledge to "bomb the hell out of ISIS. " Apparently shelved, too, is National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster s reported interest in significantly expanding the U.S. troop presence in Syria.

"Project Hobart" (apparently the cool sounding codenames are reserved for gaming hardware), was pushed under the rug ahead of E3 to focus on the Xbox One S and revealing next year's high end Xbox One, Project Scorpio. As WC tells it, Microsoft was going to order 300,000 units of the device and it'd release shortly after E3. Furthermore, Microsoft was apparently forced to prematurely reveal Scorpio after Sony spilled its guts to the Financial Times about PlayStation 4 Pro, just ahead of gaming's grand gala. That last bit makes a lot of sense considering Microsoft has said close to nothing about the console in terms of real information, and chose to rattle off system specs and video of a motherboard instead of a console and games in June.
