Ankara and Moscow have left the door open for negotiations and have displayed a general willingness to discuss solutions by refraining from sharp declarations against each other on the Libyan issue a tactic they neglected to implement for the Syrian civil war. The good relations between President Recep Tayyip Erdo an and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin have played a decisive role in overcoming pitfalls in bilateral issues. This amiable relationship has also benefited both sides when interests cross.Meanwhile, according to reports in the international media, the U.S. is seeking, through a draft defense budget in 2021, to purchase Russian S 400 missiles from Turkey. Moscow responded to these reports via Federal Service for Military Technical Cooperation spokesperson Maria Vorobyova, who said: "The buyers of our arms, before exporting them, must provide the Russian side the end user certificate. Therefore, delivery or re export to a third country without the permission of the Russian side is impossible."
The Affordable Care Act expanded Medicaid coverage for most adults in the United States with incomes up to 138% of the federal poverty level, and many states opted to do so starting in 2014. This led to increased enrollment in Medicaid, with most new enrollees reporting that they had previously been uninsured.Providing insurance coverage to these individuals may lead to more consistent care, including a greater likelihood that people will be routinely screened for cancer. To examine whether Medicaid expansion has led to earlier cancer detection, Uriel Kim, PhD, a medical student and researcher at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine s Center for Community Health Integration in Cleveland, Ohio, and his colleagues at the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center analyzed information pertaining to 12,760 individuals in Ohio aged 30 to 64 years who were diagnosed with invasive breast, cervical, colorectal, or lung cancer in 2011 to 2016 and were uninsured or had Medicaid insurance at the time of diagnosis. The investigators compared data before Medicaid expansion (2011 to 2013) and after Medicaid expansion (2014 to 2016), noting whether patients were diagnosed with early (non metastatic) or advanced (metastatic) cancer.

From the time that numeric control started making inroads into machine shops in the middle of the last century until relatively recently, the power of being able to control machine tools with something other than a skilled human hand was evident. Unfortunately, the equipment to do so was expensive, and so NC technology remained firmly in the big shops, where a decent return on investment could be realized.Fast forward a few decades, and everything that makes the computerized version of NC possible is cheap and easily available. Servos, steppers, drivers, and motion control components can be plugged together into CNC machines that can move a tool to a fixed point in space with incredible accuracy and repeatability. But without CNC software, none of it means a thing.

The Chinese presence in India in Achipur and Calcutta to start with, but also in other parts of the country had slowly expanded for nearly 200 years after Tong Atchew s arrival in 1778. The 1871 Census found 574 Chinese in Calcutta and 531 in Bombay; the 1901 Census listed 1,640 in Calcutta; and at the end of World War II, the British colonial government estimated there were 26,250 Chinese in India. At the time (1950s and early 60s), many thousands of Chinese Indians had no valid citizenship papers. Even though many of them had been born in India, they had never needed such documents, like many of their Indian neighbours. Now, with the rise in feelings against China, they scrambled to acquire proof that they were Indian citizens. But there was not enough time for all of them to acquire the security of owning Indian papers before war broke out in 1962. This was a catastrophe for the community, though arguably even owning Indian papers could not have protected them. Chinese establishments were shut down; authorities expanded their surveillance of members of the community; and for ordinary Indians, the war only poured tanker loads of fuel on the flames of anti China feelings. Few Indians were interested in making a distinction between their Indian neighbours who had Chinese roots and the China that India was at war with.
