Police said the the accused, identified as Sunil Kumar Jha, duped Pandit Laxman Das Bhardwaj, an Ayurvedic practitioner, who came in contact with the former for the promotion of Ayurveda items.Jha allegedly introduced himself as the head of a TV channel and introduced his wife as an expert on running TV channels, a senior police officer said. He also told Bhardwaj that he had earlier worked in Doordarshan.

I immediately deposited Rs 1 lakh online in two transactions at the given account number," he said.In his complaint, Lodha further said that he used to correspond regularly with Singh over email. "When Lodha read the email sent by BP Singh regarding his hacked email, he immediately disclosed that he was cheated and duped of Rs 1 lakh by the unknown hacker.
