At the time the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) was trying to land Chandrayaan 2 spacecraft''s Vikram lander on the Moon, suspected North Korean hackers might have attacked the space agency, the Daily Mail reported on Friday.
This was the second time when NASA #39;s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) passed over the area where Vikram Lander had a hard landing on September 7 and took images of the area. The images were taken on Monday in better lighting conditions compared to the last time when LRO clicked images on September 17.
NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) has taken a fresh set of pictures under better lighting conditions of the area where the Indian moon lander Vikram likely ended up and experts will be making a rigorous search for it, according to LRO Project Scientist Noah Petro."The lighting conditions on Monday were much more favourable, (with) less shadow in the region" compared to last month, Petro told IANS on Wednesday.
The space agency along with trying to communicate with Vikram lander and Gaganyaan, they are also working on a total of seven interplanetary missions. Among the destinations are Mars, the Moon, Venus, the Sun's corona and interplanetary space to study space.
