It s Monday. It s the start of the working week. Your to do list is as long as the Sahara desert and summer is gasping to a close. Are you feeling good as hell right now? Probably not.
His name is something to remember: Ghali, the 25 year old Italian Tunisian rapper. His style is pretty unforgettable, too. Last night at the opening ceremony for the film festival, Ghali looked especially dapper in a Dior Men s double breasted black suit from the house s Fall 2019 collection. His approach to black tie was for sure unconventional. In lieu of a bow tie, he sported an Alyx for Dior chain, for example. There was also a train attached at his collar that swooped under his jacket and hung down to his ankles. In 2019, it s not necessary to wear a smoking suit to be formal, says stylist Ramona Tabita, who has been working with the rapper for three years.Photo: Getty ImagesAdvertisementAs red carpet risk takers go, it turns out Ghali is relatively seasoned. He made a cameo at the Gucci Cruise 2020 presentation back in March in Rome, arm in arm (and lip on lip ) with his girlfriend, Italian supermodel Mariacarla Boscono. Still, even rolling solo, Ghali s funky style is something to watch. Earlier this summer while on tour in Frankfurt, he performed in a full Maison Margiela Fall 2019 runway look, which consisted of an elongated blue button down with wide leg white pants and, of course, the house s most infamous split toe boot, the Tabi. Around his neck was a silver vintage choker from Tunisia. Even if he wears a brand head to toe, such as Gucci, he ll infuse a nice dose of his own personality think an extra long, statement making necklace. With more than a week of Venice Film festivities to come, there s no telling what magical fashion tricks he ll pull out next.

ShareTweetWhere better to find wardrobe inspiration than from the best dressed women in fashion? Much fuss is made about New York, London, Milan and Paris, but Copenhagen Fashion Week has always been one of the world s lesser known fashion events. Until now, that is.
Let s start with a slow clap for the one in eight men surveyed in the UK who think they could win a point against tennis champion Serena Williams.
Hudson is currently in the middle of a moment. The Los Angeles based designer s clothes are becoming a constant within the wardrobes of some of the world s most powerful women. In February, Amal Clooney stepped out in his tailored red jumpsuit during a trip to New York, while Beyonc updated her Instagram with multiple shots of his bejeweled blazer later that same month. Back in May, Obama and her stylist Meredith Koop enlisted him to create a vibrant plum suit for the Atlanta stop of her tour, only to revisit his work this weekend. Given the warm response Obama s Studio 54 inspired jumpsuit received, it s safe to say this is only the beginning of a beautiful collaboration.

Karl asked me for hair going up and away from the face, I knew he had an idea of the 19th century in the air, with the set and the romance, McKnight wrote on Instagram. When we did the hair and makeup looks I was reading Dylan Jones s brilliant David Bowie biography, I was immersed in the period where he hung out with the Blitz Kids, so by osmosis the hair today became inspired by those early eighties style icons. So it became a mix of 19th century romance and Bowie s Blitz Kids. To get the look, the iconic stylist used the Easy Up Do Texture Spray and Modern Hairspray from his namesake product line. He used a bristled brush to sweep hair upward as he sprayed product to create the enormous structure of the pompadour.
The adorable 2 year old daughter of Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna served as a super sweet assistant to her mom's hairsylist, Jay, and showed just how smart she's getting when it comes to naming colors."I'm working on Mommy's hair today and guess who's my assistant?" the reality star's stylist said in a cute clip he posted to his Instagram Story Wednesday morning. "Say 'hi,' Dream."
In the video, Blac Chyna s hair stylist Jay points his camera at little Dream and explains what the day s work entails. "So, I'm working on mommy's hair today and guess who's my assistant? " Jay says in the video as he holds a blue wig. He then directs viewers attention to Dream. "Say hi, Dream. "
Sony claims the innovations of the film go beyond stylistic originality or envelope pushing success and qualify as a distinctly new invention, according to an exclusive report in Deadline. According to Rodney Rothman, who directed the movie with Peter Ramsey and Bob Persichetti, the Sony team received a mandate to basically challenge how animated movies are made and what they can be, from top to bottom. Completing the animation for the film required up to 140 animators, the largest crew ever used by Sony Pictures Animation for a film. Sony Pictures Imageworks and Sony Pictures Animation created a new visual language that pays homage to classic comic book visuals and rebuilt the animation and lighting pipeline wholly from scratch. Attempting to replicate the original look of the Miles Morales centered Spider Man comic book series, each frame inside the 116 minute film comprises a computer generated image (CGI) overlaid with a hand drawn illustration. The result is a visual energy that is so different from the clean, precise CG animation we see again and again in animated studio blockbusters.

Puff Daddy we can just assume was busy and Kanye was probably barred from the building, either at Drake;s request or because he wanted to wear his MAGA hat on set. Drake meanwhile is still on tour with Migos, though with all the cancellations, we 'll have to see how long that lasts. Watch the video for "No Stylist " below.

Fashion has a huge influence in France and is arguably the second biggest industry in the country. However, it comes with its own set of problems. Other than body image issues, the fashion industry has always been ridden with instances of sexual harassment and now, as Italian author Giulia Mensitieri points out in her new book The Most Beautiful Job in the World, most workers are not even being paid their minimum due.As per reports in The Guardian, the author said, "The book s salient claim is that when we think of exploitation in the fashion we think of sweatshops abroad or sexual harassment of models. But that s not what I was interested in. I was looking at the creative side: stylists, make up artists, young designers, interns, assistants. What I really want to make clear is that exploitation exists at the very heart of the powerfully symbolic and economic centre of the big luxury brands. But it is a different form of exploitation. "
