Yash's KGF, which released on 21 December, has become the fourth highest earning movie of South Indian cinema. It is still behind SS Rajamouli's Baahubali series and Shankar's 2.0. However, the gangster action drama is expected to continue adding to its box office collection due to positive word of mouth and no big releases in the upcoming week. KGF has made a collection of more than Rs 87 crore from Karnataka alone. In addition to Karnataka, Yash's movie has been performing well in Kerala and Hyderabad too. The film has raked over Rs 1.65 crore at the end of 10 days at Kerala box office. Additionally, Yash's movie has managed to earn nearly Rs 24.45 crore from its Hindi version and Rs 6 crore from the overseas box office. Apart from Kannada and Hindi, KGF was released in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu.

Experts claim considering KGF's stellar run at the box office so far, the film is set to recover the entire cost of the film about Rs 80 crore by Tuesday. Apart from Kannada, the film was released in three different languages, including Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam.KGF, which stands for Kolar Gold Fields , has been a phenomenal success in Karnataka, with its overall collection exceeding Rs 38 crore in the state alone. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film, which is the first part of the duology, is just behind SS Rajamouli's blockbuster film Baahubali in the state. Filmmaker Vikram Kumar, well known for his recent collaboration with Suriya on time travel thriller 24, tied the knot with Srinidhi on Sunday in a grand ceremony.The wedding took place in a 5 star hotel in Chennai, and it was attended by families of the couple and select guests from the industry, including A R Rahman and Suriya.
Vikram Kumar met Srinidhi on the sets of Suriya's, "24" and they grew fond of each other by the time they wrapped up the project. Srinidhi works as a sound designer with double Oscar winning composer A R Rahman, who composed the music for "24." Both their families approved the relationship and gave consent to take it to the next level. The couple got engaged at a private ceremony Chenni on June 1.Director Vikram Kumar and sound engineer Srinidhi entered the wedlock at a grand marriage ceremony held at the Hotel Hilton in Chennai on this morning. The director confirmed their wedding, by posting a photo on his Facebook account. The couple would host a reception this evening and who's who of Tamil and Telugu film fraternity is expected to attend the event.
