There is no denying that the relationship between art and sexual imagery is as longstanding as the history of art itself. Nude figures in varying degrees of censorship have been consistently depicted even as styles and tastes have changed throughout the centuries. Even ancient Rome saw the production of erotic sculptures, frescoes, and mosaics. How these forms of art became defined as art and not porn is the underlying question in the current exhibition The Pleasure Principle at Maccarone in Los Angeles. Featuring well known female artists, including Lynda Benglis, Louise Bourgeois, Tracey Emin, and Laurie Simmons the exhibition that is fully funded by the porn giant, Pornhub, blurs the boundaries between art and porn by recontextualizing porn in the setting of an art gallery. The obvious question when considering Pornhub s collaboration with Maccarone is, why? Why would Pornhub spend the money to commission a large scale art exhibition? And why would Maccarone agree to it? The answer for Pornhub seems to be related to a larger cultural program that the company has been promoting in recent years: I think it s important to get involved culturally, Pornhub vice president Corey Price explained to Bloomberg. But we don t just randomly sponsor art things we want it to be part of the conversation of sex and sexuality in the art space. Pornhub certainly has been taking their cultural agenda seriously. There s no denying that there is a conversation between art and porn, so why shouldn t Pornhub be a part of that? Beyond Maccarone, Pornhub has also partnered with the Museum of Sex in New York on pop up gift shops, as well as a major exhibition of erotic film from the early 1900s to the 1960s that explores the origins of the porn industry.

It ends a period since 2013 wherein the brewery had been 100% employee owned, which had served as a roadmap for other craft breweries seeking an employee ownership model. Likewise, this will spell the end of New Belgium being considered a craft brewer by the Colorado based Brewers Association, by that trade group s own (ever changing) definition of the word. The brewery will remain based in Fort Collins, with all its facilities (including the brewery in Asheville, NC) in operation, with CEO Steve Fechheimer overseeing day to day operations. Co founder Kim Jordan, one of the beer industry s most recognizable figures, will remain in an advisory role, and will collaborate with other founders within Lion s portfolio, according to Brewbound. San Francisco s Magnolia Brewing Company, in which New Belgium owned a stake, will likewise be included in the deal. Jordan responded to the sale with a letter to New Belgium fans, posted on the brewery website, in a fairly clear attempt to stave off various lines of potential criticism before they have a chance to reach some critical mass. In that letter, she spoke for the need of the sale, obliquely noting the increased competition with which the brewery now deals every day as a national player. She wrote the following to that effect:
Gray shared a photo of a tiny little detail she noticed on her apartment building mdash;a tiny little cat paw print baked into the brick used to construct her home. ” P ermanent small bean vibes in this house, ” Gray tweeted, seemingly viewing the presence of the prints as a good omen (which clearly they are). The paw print is reminiscent of those keepsake hand print art projects that many kindergartners bring home from school as a present for their parents. This most likely impromptu version serves as a permanent reminder that at least one life that this cat has lived will never, ever forgotten and it didn ''t even need to star in the musical Cats to achieve that notoriety.

The four day conference and networking event is the brainchild of Estefania Lacayo, a Nicaraguan New Yorker with 17 years of experience in the fashion business, and Samantha Tams, a retail specialist. They launched the project in 2018 to help Latin American creatives and entrepreneurs who had previously had little to no access to the industry s international decision makers. With the promise of panels, workshops, and dinners at home, Lacayo and Tams lured the likes of Carolina Herrera, Francisco Costa, entrepreneur Carmen Busquets, jeweler Ana Khouri, MatchesFashion.com s Natalie Kingham, and Colombia s own rising star Johanna Ortiz to the summit, and 600 attendees participated.Busquets and Herrera spoke about the Latin American fashion boom and what it takes to make it on the global stage, and Costa joined Mexican Vogue s Karla Martinez de Salas to discuss his new beauty project Costa Brazil. Lacayo s personal highlight came during the welcome event. Everyone went around the room saying hello, and at one point 15 children stood up and introduced themselves as students from Honduras who were in attendance thanks to the sponsorship programs we developed with NGOs and private family offices. It s this type of inclusivity that s one of our main missions, and to see it come to life was truly special for us.

In an interview with the Millennium Post, AAP''s senior leader and also an MP in Rajya Sabha, Sanjay Singh spoke on various schemes launched by the state government, which he believes will ultimately come in favour of the ruling party. But unlike the 2015 election where the AAP was considering a coalition with Congress, this time they have no such talks, confirmed Singh. The AAP sees only BJP as its main opposition and is certain of repeating its previous performance. In the 2015 assembly elections, AAP won 67 of the 70 seats and the BJP got the rest, while the Congress drew a blank.

This psychological barrier is strengthened by SMA200 1 hour located on approach.
Another week, another round of Crypto Tidbits. The past seven days were rather painful for Bitcoin (BTC), with the leading cryptocurrency tumbling by some 4% according to Coin360. Altcoins have posted similar losses. As of the time of writing this, BTC is trading for $8,500, seemingly poised to break down further as bulls fail to step in.Regardless of the price action, though, the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry saw a number of positive developments: reports indicated that Canada ''s largest bank is looking to embrace Bitcoin, China ''s foremost news outlet, which is state run, mentioned Bitcoin in an article, and Ethereum ''s decentralized finance ecosystem has been gaining traction.
Ethereum s price action has been closely mirroring that of Bitcoin s in recent times, which has made it prone to seeing heightened levels of selling pressure in spite of ETH;s multiple recent attempts to break above its long established resistance level at $190.This selling pressure has sent ETH down to the lower $180 region while also causing it to form some fresh resistance levels directly above its current price, which could send it reeling lower in the near term.
