The Times of India newspaper considers it conceivable that "Chinese aggression " could be a warning to India against joining the "absolutely legitimate " international demand for an independent investigation into the origins of the coronavirus outbreak. "If Beijing succeeds in getting India to kowtow to China #39;s diplomatic positions, this would also be a strong signal to the other neighboring countries about who is to decide what in Asia. Therefore, India should do exactly what China does not want it to do, and react with diplomatic countermeasures. "

Despite the controversies that have surrounded it from the start, and Delhi;s abiding suspicion that it is a deceptive ploy by Pakistan to exploit the alleged Khalistan chink in India;s security armour, the Kartarpur Corridor agreement is a rare India Pakistan agreement that has proved to be workable even with the bilateral surround sound at its worst. In fact, India was quick to join the initiative, and through the ups and downs of 2019, its inauguration last November was miracle like. That is because howsoever important it was for Pakistan, and whatever its reasons to push the Kartarpur corridor project, it has been as much in India;s interests to be part of it.Now, there are even more reasons not to walk away from it. Accepting Pakistan ''s Kartarpur offer would help to keep one bridge with Pakistan intact, considering that most others have been steadily eroded or completely destroyed. This current moment, when India is facing a military crisis against China in Ladakh, after 20 Indian soldiers have been killed in a clash with Chinese soldiers, is hardly the time to worsen relations with a neighbour, even a difficult one. Second, it would telegraph India ''s intention and determination to keep its relations with the two countries separate despite their apparent efforts to make common cause over Ladakh and Kashmir. Third, and equally important, Pakistan probably expects India to spurn the offer. Accepting it would deprive Islamabad of the opportunity to go to town with the cry that India has once again rejected Pakistan ''s hand of friendship. Security officials in Punjab know the drill already, and should be able to ensure there are no slip ups. The concern that remains is of pilgrims bringing the coronavirus infection back with them. This should worry Pakistan, too, about incoming pilgrims. But both sides know by now what the preventive measures are, and how to put them in place.

This decision is part of India;s policy measures targeting Chinese goods following the recent border clashes which have led the #BoycottChina products movement. With this decision, the display of the state of origin is very likely to influence customer choice for items as Boycott China chorus is growing. One of the key thing that Chinese products have infused in the people is that they are very cost effective and does the job when it comes to quality. This has led most people seeking these products but this movement will ultimately Indian companies to grow.

It was seemingly a small set of announcements peppered throughout the packed two hour keynote, one that may have been overshadowed in the headlines by the Mac Apple Silicon news and the iOS macOS visual overhaul, but Apple ''s doubling down on user privacy were, by far, some of the most important announcements that Apple made at WWDC 2020. The focus on privacy is not new for the past several years, Apple has been floating this almost utopian ideal of your data staying on your device, and not floating out surreptitiously to advertisers tracking your every digital move. Yet, it ''s one thing talking a good privacy game, but Apple ''s one of the few companies that is walking the talk on user first privacy measures that further separate the Cupertino giant from its Mountain View competition. The subtle, almost diaphanous criticism of Google and Facebook were not lost on us, Apple. You want location access? How about an approximate? Have you ever considered why certain apps, say for events or entertainment, ask for your exact geo location for recommendations for nearby places ( cough ads cough)? With the new iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 coming later this year, Apple will allow folks using their devices to share only what Apple calls ”Approximate Location ”, your coordinates accurate to a few kilometers to where you 're currently, rather than precise latitude longitude datapoints that leak your behavior to advertisers. To achieve this, the world has been divvied up into squares roughly 25 square kilometers in size, so if you feel an app can do its job with an approximate sense of which side of town you are instead of your house and street address, that ''s what you can choose to share with the app. No more broad brush decisions of sharing either exact location or no location at all, now with your iPhone iPad giving off a general sense of where you are, all those news and weather apps can continue to work without letting on too much to big brother advertiser trackers.
