There were divided Opinions immediately after Ashwin's Mankading act. While the likes of Eoin Morgan, Jason Roy, Kevin Pietersen and Dale Steyn slammed the Indian off spinner for his act and Shane Warne went one step ahead by terming it embarrasing and disgusting, some others like Sanjay Manjrekar, Harsha Bhogle and Murali Karthik felt there was nothing wrong with what Ashwin did. The Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) said batsmen should remain in their ground with the bat behind the crease until its fair for them to leave. But the question raised in several sections was whether Ashwin delayed his delivery stride on purpose and plotted the Mankading. Ashwin said he did not plan the dismissal and it was instinctive.

Kuldeep Yadav once again proved to be sensational for Indian skipper Virat Kohli and bowled with variations in the first ODI at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad and helped the hosts to restrict the Aussies for a below par total. Kuldeep finished his spell with 2 for 46 in the series opener and the wicket that stood out was his dismissal of Peter Handscomb. He delivered an absolute beauty to outfox the batsman and the rest was down by MS Dhoni. It was in the final delivery of the 30th over. Kuldeep tossed the ball to Peter Handscomb and Handscomb tried to take the ariael route as he tried to go down the track. But the ball turned through the gap between the bat and the pad and the rest was done by Dhoni. Handscomb could only stop, turn back and watch as Dhoni dislodged the bails. The Aussie batsman walked back for 19 runs after facing 30 balls.
Ethics and the entertainment industry are often seen as being in conflict with one another; scandals arise based on charges which can vary in seriousness from minor to major. Social media platforms allow public outcry against the actions of musical artists no matter the genre of their music. Thus, the question must be asked: How far can the music be separated from its creator?Criticisms are often met with a response which is disproportionate to the purported crime, be it an over reaction to a minor incident or a dismissal of a more serious situation. Accusations of deep seated racism are met with the argument that good music is just that, regardless of its creator, whilst a song designed to parody the media s interpretation of the artist is met with unbridled hatred. Admittedly, this is an issue across the entertainment industry, but music s inherent link with the expression of the musician s self makes it a particularly difficult job to differentiate between art and its creator.

I 'm not clear on why they think an appeal will be successful (unless they have new evidence to introduce), but I guess they wouldn 't be proceeding if they didn 't think they had a shot.
Now, yet another similarly hilarious dismissal has taken place in a different part of the world. In a local match in New Zealand, a batsman got run out after a miscommunication with his partner. Though, what was bizarre and hilarious was the fact that both the batsmen slipped a number of times before the run out took place.
