Dubbed the Samsung Galaxy A91 (SM A915F), the handset is equipped with a massive 6.7 inch Infinity U Display, a Qualcomm made Snapdragon 855 CPU and 8GB of RAM, according to SamMobile. It's also rumoured to feature a tri camera (48MP 12MP 8MP), a 4500mAh battery and 128GB of expandable storage.

Microsoft has admitted that a bug in Windows 10 is causing major problems with victims computers.The update is called Windows 10 KB4512941 and is alleged to make some people s CPU run wild, meaning their whole system slows down.
@mspoweruserWe reported a few days ago that Windows 10 users who installed KB4512941 were complaining of high CPU usage by SearchUI.exe, a component of Cortana on the desktop.
It's unclear how widespread the problem is, and Microsoft hasn't provided an official explanation for the root cause. There's also no fix for users to apply just yet, but there are ways to correct the issue by either removing the update or tweaking registry settings.
Users have been experiencing CPU usage spikes after installing this optional cumulative. The problem seems to be associated with Cortana and its SearchUI.exe process that is reportedly using 30 40% of the CPU and 150 200MB of memory.

Speculative execution relies on predicting which calculations a processor will need to perform in advance, allowing it to work on tasks in advance and in parallel fashion rather than strictly sequentially. Unfortunately, it turned out an unfixable hardware flaw in virtually every one of Intel s CPUs meant that they didn t check permissions correctly and leaked information about speculative commands that were never run, possibly allowing an attacker glimpses at ultra sensitive kernel memory.

MediaTek on Tuesday launched its Helio G90 series of system on chips (SoCs) that are specifically designed for gaming phones. Taking on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 730 and Snapdragon 730G, the new series consists of the Helio G90 and Helio G90T that both are paired with MediaTek's HyperEngine game technology that is touted to deliver an enhanced gaming experience on smartphones. The Helio G90 series also have octa core CPU, paired with ARM Mali G76 3EEMC4 GPU. The Taiwanese company claimed that the combination delivers up to 1TMACs (TeraMAC) performance. The chipsets are designed through an extensive involvement of the MediaTek India team, though both will be available for smartphones globally.At an event in New Delhi, MediaTek showcased that the Helio G90T outperforms the recently launched gaming focussed Snapdragon 730 and Snapdragon 730G SoCs with three percent and seven percent increase in AnTuTu performance scores, respectively. On the GeekBench 4.1, the company showed off that the new Helio chipset delivered 10 percent better results than the Snapdragon 730G and nine percent enhanced scores over Snapdragon 730.

Qualcomm on Tuesday announced the Snapdragon 215 Mobile Platform as its newest System on Chip (SoC) in the Snapdragon 200 series. The latest Snapdragon SoC is specifically designed for budget smartphones and is the successor to the Snapdragon 212 that the San Diego based company launched back in August 2015. It is touted to be the first in its range to come with a 64 bit CPU and support dual cameras. Qualcomm has also offered its Snapdragon X5 LTE modem on the Snapdragon 215 to enable dual VoLTE connectivity. Similarly, the Snapdragon 215 is the first in the Snapdragon 200 series to support 64 bit Android platform as well as 64 bit apps. The chipset is also capable of hosting NFC based payments.Claimed to offer up to 50 percent faster performance, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 is based on a new 64 bit architecture that has four ARM Cortex A53 cores at a maximum clock speed of 1.3GHz. There is also an Adreno 308 GPU that is rated to boost the gaming performance by up to 25 percent from the predecessor. Manufacturers can opt for LPDDR3 RAM of up to 672MHz and 3GB capacity. Further, the chipset supports eMMC 4.5 and SD 3.0 (UHS I) storage.
Per his LinkedIn account, former ARM Lead CPU Architect Mike Filippo joined up with Apple last month, following a 10 year stint with the semiconductor company. The move notably follows the exit of Apple chip design lead Gerard Williams III, back in March. Filippo appears perfectly suited for the role, having played a key part in a many of ARM s virtually ubiquitous designs. He previously spent several years at both Intel and AMD.ARM confirmed Filippo s exit in a statement offered to Bloomberg. Mike was a long time valuable member of the ARM community, the company said. We appreciate all of his efforts and wish him well in his next endeavor. Apple, on the other hand, has yet to officially confirm the move.

On the rear, the Redmi K20 Pro sports triple camera setup featuring 48MP wide angle sensor with f 1.75 aperture, 13MP ultra wide angle sensor with f 2.4 aperture, and an 8MP telephoto sensor with f 2.4 aperture. The Mi 9 SE launched in the beginning of this year also came with the same triple camera system.
