Kelly will get a do over in a civil sexual abuse lawsuit filed against him.After failing to show up to court last month, Kelly, 52, lost the lawsuit by default against a woman who alleges the R amp;B singer sexually abused her as a teenager. In the lawsuit, which was filed in February, the alleged victim, who is identified in court documents as H.W., claimed that in 1998, when she was 16, Kelly began sexually abusing her, according to the Chicago Tribune. She is now 36 and seeks more than $50,000 in damages.
At the first hearing, Judge Moira Johnson vacated a default judgment she made against Kelly after the singer failed to respond to a lawsuit brought by one of the four women he;s charged with sexually abusing. Johnson reinstated the lawsuit after one of Kelly;s attorneys explained that the singer was in jail when he was served with the lawsuit documents and that Kelly didn;t respond because he can;t read.The second hearing, which pertained to child support, came weeks after the judge in that case ordered Kelly to jail after finding him in contempt of court for failing to pay $161,000 in back child support to his ex wife, who is the mother of his three children. Kelly remained locked up for three days until he raised the back child support.

Jeff Perea of Salt Lake City Police said 54 year old Sterrett Neale faces three counts of forcible sexual abuse, three counts of forcible sodomy, and three counts of object rape.Perea said the teacher is accused of abusing a then 17 year old girl beginning in March of 2017. The girl was one of the man 's students but it is not immediately clear if she still attends the school.
